Meet the Crew

Yada Khoongumjorn is a senior at Northwood High School, and in her second year of NTV. As NTV's producer, Yada is in charge of the show and truly makes it the show it is. Yada is fluent in Photoshop and creates the majority of the shows graphics. Outside of NTV, Yada works with the Howler, the yearbook, Amnesty International, and All Through Out Asia.

Rebecca Pacun is a senior at Northwood High School and is in her 3rd year of NTV. As the Director of FilmEd*, her main duty is to create the DVD yearbook. She loves being involved in NTV because it is a fun environment and prepares her for a successful future.

Andy Cho, a senior at Northwood, is the NTV show editor. It is his responsibility to ingest and edit the raw footage for the NTV weekly broadcast. Andy is very excited to show off his current talents while working close with the producer to create NTV.

Arya Zarifi is a senior at NHS, and is in his 3rd year in Northwood's video program. His position as ASB producer lets him take his talent to help promote ASB events around Northwood. Arya is in NTV because "he loves every aspect of movies and film making."

Shazib Haq is a junior in his second year of NTV. He can be found during and after school shooting features, interviews, and sports for NTV and the video yearbook. He also is the Technical Director for NTV. Shazib says he is in NTV "because he wants to contribute and give back to the school and also enjoys working with FilmEd*'s quality equipment."

Jeff Geukens is in his second year of NTV and a junior at Northwood. Jeff is the Editor of the DVD yearbook for FilmEd* and takes charge of the organization and technical directing. Jeff also owns a chocolate factory and works their during the summer.

Mattan Cohen is a junior at Northwood, and has been in video production classes for five years. As associate producer of the video yearbook Mattan's responsibility is to ensure that events are shot and the crew is always informed. He can be seen at events filming for the DVD yearbook and shooting short films and music videos.

Eric Walder is a senior at Northwood High School and in his third year in the NTV class. Eric is interested in film because he enjoys amusing others. He can be seen around campus filming features with Brandon Wu. As the Set Designer for NTV, Eric is in charge of the stage for the talent on NTV. 

Solai Meyappan is a junior at Northwood High school, and has been filming and editing short films for over a year. Solai can be seen around campus shooting sports and filming features. In his free time Solai enjoys playing tennis.

Jay Salahi is a junior at Northwood and has five years of video production under his belt. Jay works closely with FilmEd* to create short films and music videos. Outside of video production Jay enjoys football, watching movies, theme parks, and females.

Mekayla Longpre is a sophomore at Northwood. This is her first year in NTV. She hopes to direct music videos. Aside from being a critical asset to FilmEd*, Mekayla loves to play soccer and donate her time to National Charity League. Mekayla hopes "that this year will be the best ever for NTV."

Kayla Ashtiani is a junior, and at 16 years old, she enjoys making short films and strives for a career in Broadcast Journalism. This is her first year in NTV and Kayla plans to continue the class through her senior year.

Logan Bevan-Hiveley is a senior attending Northwood High Schooland is striving to become a Hollywood filmmaker. He eats, sleeps, and breathes film making. He hopes one day to become Director and a Hollywood screen writer.

Melissa Kan is a senior attending Northwood High and this is her first year involved in the NTV program. She hopes to pursue a career in film production and enjoys working with others to make short films. Recieving several awards from film contests, Melissa has chosen to donate the proceeds to charaties and clubs on campus.

Kevin Cho is a junior in his first year of NTV. He works as the graphic manager for the broadcast. By editing in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Kevin is able to contribute to the show every week. Kevin also loves to play bass guitar and watch movies to help him improve his film capabilities.
